Taos, Denver, Minnesota & Map of Lawyer Canyon

Pink and I are still in Minnesota on our way to Idaho.  We are visiting grandkids, family and friends before heading into the forest.   We played with grandkids in Taos and Denver on the way north.  We plan to leave Minnesota in a week.

Stop by the campus on our way out.

I have updated a few maps in preparation for our arrival in Idaho.  Below is the current version of the Ranch map.  The canyon is 1500 feet deep at the Lower Flat.  The Camas Prairie above is 3000+ foot elevation and Lawyer Creek is about 1500+/- foot elevation.  This map identifies the Ranch hunt areas.  The map series will include a geologic map, Native sites, Lewis and Clark, Homestead plots, historic flora and fauna, current flora and fauna, Ranch trails historic and current land use, among others.

Also, here are links to the Ranch website and a document I wrote in 2000 that outlines a brief history of the Canyon.
